Metateaching: Richard Lee's activities about teaching

In addition to teaching several courses, Richard Lee has been involved in several activities about teaching classes.

Teaching and Faculty Support Center

From January 1999 through May 2000 Richard Lee was a co-director of the Teaching and Faculty Support Center here at the University of Arkansas.

Teaching with Technology

In the fall of 1998 Richard Lee was a facilitator for a "faculty mentor group" (a small group of faculty who get together to enhance their abilities or learn more about a topic) on "Teaching with Technology."

Teaching the Large Lecture Class

Also in the fall of 1999 Richard Lee is a participant in a "faculty mentor group" (see above) to enhance skills on teaching large classes.

TIPS (formerly "Peer Consultation Program")

This is a teaching partnership program where faculty members provide consultation and guidance to other faculty members for improvement of teaching.

These programs are all offered through the Teaching and Faculty Support Center here at the University of Arkansas.
