Examinations: There will be six examinations. "Make ups" will not be offered. There will be an additional cumulative grade for the homework, which will be counted twice. For each student the lowest of these eight grades (6 exams and 2 grades for homework) will be dropped. The seven highest grades (i.e., those remaining) will be counted equally (i.e., approximately 14% each) toward the final course grade.

Homework: There will be daily problem-sets assigned from the book. These are to be completed on computer using LogicCoach software and submitted on disk. (The computer is able to tell you when you get the problem right, and will allow you to keep working until you do.)
