Sometime one and the same thing is referred to (or known) in two different ways.

Examples:

Morning Star is the Evening Star (IP3 273b)
Water is H₂O (IP3 273b)
Lightning is "a particularly massive electrical discharge
from one cloud to another or to the earth." (IP3 273b)
