Concept  :  belief  ::  noun  :   statement

Concepts:What we have (or can have) beliefs about
 
Beliefs:What we think (or can think) to be true

Examples of Concepts:

money, dog, paper, sky, room, desk, person, telephone, ice
Examples of Beliefs:
"The winter Olympics were in Greece in 2004."
"I have two hands."
"People should not kill one another."
"My wife loves me."
"Arkansas is south of Missouri."
"'Yesterday' was written by Paul McCartney."
"Eight is an even number."
