Types of Justice

1. Distributive Justice

How should benefits (e.g., education, health care, pay) and burdens (e.g. military service, jury duty, washing the dishes) be distributed among members of society (or of a group)?

2. Procedural Justice

What procedures (or patterns of interaction) are just or fair?

3. Rectifying Justice

How is wrongdoing to be treated (e.g., what kind of punishment is appropriate)?
